The graph shows information about the average number of visitors entering a museum in summer and winter in 2003. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make a comparison where relevant.

The line chart illustrates the average quantity of visitors to a UK museum in two different seasons in 2003. In general, the museum attracted considerably more tourists during the summer compared to the winter period. It is also evident that the opening hours of the museum were more restricted when winter came.
During the summer, around 400 visitors entered the museum at 9 a.m., followed by a substantial surge to nearly 1300 after one and a half hours. This figure continued to rise until it reached its peak of roughly 1500 people at noon, which later declined dramatically as the afternoon approached. At 4 p.m., the attendance rate began to halve to only 800 visitors before gradually falling to none after 5:30 p.m. when the museum was closed.
Towards the end of the year, the highest quantity of tourists coming to the museum was just roughly a half of the peak number in the summer. Specifically, people tended to visit the museum predominantly during the day, from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m., with data hovering between 400 and 600 visitors. When midday passed, significant decreases were witnessed in the attendance rate, which quickly plummeted to zero when the museum no longer opened after 2:30 p.m.
