The bar chart shows the percentage of school children learning to play different musical instruments in 2005, 2010, 2015. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

2. Phân tích và chọn số liệu quan trọng

2005:

• Piano: over one tenth // closely followed by  guitar // at 10%
• Drum and violin: exceptionally lower // hover from merely 6% to 8%

2015:

• Guitar: roughly two-fold increase // the most played musical instrument 
• Drum and violin: negligible shifts // at only 6% // approximately four times as low as piano

The bar chart tracks the changes in the proportion of students engaging in music-instrument lessons from 2005 to 2015. Overall, except for violin, there was an upward trend registered in the percentage of children learning to play the remaining instruments. It is also clear that the student participation rate for guitar and piano consistently boasted the two highest figures over the studied period.

A closer inspection of the chart reveals that in 2005, over one tenth of the surveyed children opted for learning to play the piano, which was closely followed by that of guitar, at 10%. Meanwhile, the figures for drum and violin were exceptionally lower, with data hovering from merely 6% to 8%.

During the following decades, a roughly two-fold increase was witnessed in the rate of guitar learners, making it by far the most played musical instrument among the young. By stark contrast, drum and violin learning recorded negligible shifts in their proportion of learners, at only 6%, which was approximately four times as low as that of children taking piano lessons.
