The pie chart below shows the main reasons why students chose to study at a particular UK university in 1987 and in 2007. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Năm 1987:
- Suitable degree courses: over one third // far exceeding the quality of resources (21%)
- Other three motives: considerably lower // between merely 10% and 19%
Năm 2007:
- Suitable degree courses: remained the most // increasing mildly to 37%.
- Close to parental: a drastic rise from 10% to 22% // took over quality of resources (17%) to become the second
- Quality of teaching & good sports and social activities: dramatic declines to less than 10%

The given pie charts give information about five main reasons for student enrollment at a British university in 1987 and 2007. Overall, it is clear that the largest proportion of students opted for the school for its suitable courses. It is of note that while significantly more students choose the school for its closeness to their home, they were much less likely to do so for the school’s sports and social activities.
Students were more likely to take training programs, teaching quality, and closeness to their parent into consideration. After 20 years, there was a minimal increase in the percentage of students enrolling at the university due to the two former criteria, from 35% to 37% and from 15% to 18%, respectively. However, 10% of students reached their decision based on the proximity between their parental houses and the university in 1987. This figure then grew twofold to 22% two decades later.
By contrast, the quality of resources and extracurricular activities were less prioritized by students after 20 years. Whilst a 2% decrease was witnessed in the proportion relating to teaching quality, other reasons were given by only 6% of students in 2007, one-third the 1987 figure.
