1. Are you good at geography at school?

You know, I was decent at geography in school, but I wouldn’t say it was my favorite subject. I remember enjoying learning about different countries and cultures, especially when we had projects where we could explore places virtually. There was this one time we did a presentation on Japan, and I got really into the traditional customs and food. It made me appreciate geography a lot more!

2. Can you recognize a country by its flag?

Yeah, I can recognize quite a few flags! It’s actually kind of fun to challenge myself with it. I remember playing a trivia game with friends where we had to identify countries by their flags. I nailed the flags of Italy and Japan, but totally mixed up some others, like the flags of Chad and Romania. It was a good laugh, and it definitely helped me remember them better!

3. Is it difficult to learn geography?

I think it can be a bit challenging, especially when you’re trying to memorize all the capitals and locations. But it really depends on how the material is presented. I found it easier when teachers used maps and interactive activities instead of just textbooks. For example, once, we played a geography game where we had to locate countries on a map, and that made it way more engaging.

4. Do you think it is important to know about geography?

Definitely! Knowing about geography is super important. It helps you understand the world better, like how different cultures interact and what kind of issues countries face. I remember when I traveled abroad for the first time, having a basic understanding of geography really helped me navigate and connect with locals. Plus, it’s nice to have conversations about places and events happening around the world.
