In several parts of the world, there is currently a lack of students choosing to study science in universities and colleges. This problem happens due to some reasons, and it might have some adverse impacts on society.

There are several reasons why fewer university students are choosing science as their major. Firstly, these subjects are usually more difficult and demanding, which requires students to put much effort into their study. It is common for students majoring in engineering, chemistry, and biology to spend days and nights working on experiments at their laboratories, while other students usually have a much less packed schedule. Secondly, fewer employment opportunities and a much less promising career path await graduates in science fields compared to other subjects. Since the starting salary of fresh graduates with a background in finance or business is usually higher than that of those majoring in science, many students are more motivated to opt for other fields of study.

A shortage of learners in science domains can result in some negative effects. The first impact is that when fewer students decide to learn about science, there would be a serious shortage of employees working in these fields. This would lead to fewer technological breakthroughs which have always been the key to continual progress of humankind. Additionally, while a significantly increasing number of students are choosing economics and business to study, the number of job vacancies in these areas is limited. This might pose a threat of growing unemployment rates and other related problems such as crime or poverty, which might increase the burden on society.

In conclusion, the shortage of students choosing science subjects is caused by several factors, and this problem might bring about serious implications that might hinder progress (cản trở phát triển) in all socio-economic aspects.

1. Task Response: Bài làm cần phải đáp ứng đầy đủ và chính xác tất cả các vấn đề được đặt ra trong đề bài.

2. Coherence and Cohesion: Bài viết cần thể hiện sự gắn kết và liền mạch giữa các đoạn văn cũng như thông tin trong bài.

3. Lexical Resources: Bài viết cần đảm bảo sự chính xác và đa dạng trong việc sử dụng từ vựng. Thí sinh nên linh hoạt trong việc sử dụng các cụm từ đồng nghĩa và đưa vào bài viết một cách khéo léo những từ vựng không phổ biến để nâng cao chất lượng bài làm.

4. Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Yếu tố cuối cùng tạo nên tiêu chí chấm điểm là sự chính xác của ngữ pháp và chính tả.
