The charts below show what UK graduate and postgraduate students who did not go into full-time work did after leaving college in 2008. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Further study & Part-time work:

• Further study: graduates 29,665 // significantly exceeded postgraduates at 2,725 
• Working part-time: second for both graduates (17,735) and postgraduates (2,535)

Voluntary work & Unemployment:

• Voluntary work: graduates with only 3,500 graduates // about 100 times post-graduates
• Unemployment: notable disparity between two groups // 16,255 graduates // 1,165 postgraduates being unemployed

The bar charts compare the post-college activities of UK graduates and postgraduates who were not working fulltime in 2008. Overall, the most common purpose of both groups was to pursue further studies, followed by taking on part-time jobs and participating in voluntary work. It is noteworthy that there were more graduate students than postgraduate students in all categories compared.

Regarding two most popular activities, In 2008, the number of students who continued their academic journey after their first degree was 29,665 people, which significantly exceeded the number of postgraduates at just only 2,725 ones. Similarly, working part-time jobs was the second most common choice for both graduates and postgraduates, recorded at 17,735 and 2,535 individuals respectively.

In terms of two remaining categories, there was a minority of students who showed interest in voluntary work, with only 3,500 graduates - about 100 times higher than that of post-graduates. Moreover, there was a notable disparity in the unemployment rates between two groups, with 16,255 graduates versus 1,165 postgraduates being unemployed.
