1. What jobs do you want to do in the future?

Well, I’ve always thought about becoming a graphic designer. I’m pretty into art and all that creative stuff, so I reckon it’d be a fun job for me. I like the idea of working on cool projects, maybe even freelancing one day, you know, to have a bit of freedom with my work. But yeah, that’s the plan for now.

2. Why do you want to do that job?

I think it’s because I’ve always been into drawing and designing things since I was a kid. It just feels like a natural fit for me. Plus, I’ve seen that you can work from anywhere as a designer, which is pretty sweet. I don’t wanna be stuck in an office all day, so this kind of job sounds perfect.

3. Do your parents support your career choice?

Yeah, they’re mostly cool with it. I mean, they’re a bit old school and would have liked me to go for something more ‘stable,’ like a doctor or an engineer. But they know I’m passionate about it, and they’ve seen my work, so they’re supportive. They just want me to be happy and do well.

4. Does your future job require any specific qualifications?

Yeah, I think so. You definitely need to know your way around design software like Photoshop or Illustrator. Some people go to uni for it, but I’ve seen lots of designers who just learn on their own and build a solid portfolio. So, I guess having the skills and a good portfolio matters more than a degree sometimes.
