The diagram below shows the stages in the recycling of aluminum drinks cans. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

2. Phân tích và chọn số liệu quan trọng

Giai đoạn tái chế: 

• Aluminum products (cans) sorted into bluebox => mixed with scrap from aluminum plant => melted at a high temperature in a furnace => pouring the molten aluminum is poured into casts =>  shaped in large ingots

Giai đoạn sản xuất sản phẩm mới:

• Ingots passed through a reversing mill => flattened into thin sheets => transported to a plant => produce various new aluminum products => distribution and consumption 

3. Bố cục bài viết 

Introduction (paraphrase đề bài) & Overview (nêu xu hướng chính & những đặc điểm nổi bật – main features của bài):

• (Overview) trải qua 2 giai đoạn chính, bao gồm tái chế nhôm và sản xuất các sản phẩm từ nhôm đã tái chế

4. Bài mẫu – IELTS Sample Band 8.0+ cho đề thi IELTS Writing Task 1 ngày 20/04/2023

The diagram illustrates how aluminum products such as drinks cans are recycled. Overall, the process involves two main stages, including the recycling of used aluminum products as inputs and the manufacturing of final aluminum items, making it a circular manufacturing model.

Regarding the initial steps of recycling aluminution, the process starts when used aluminum products such as cans are sorted into a distinct bluebox, before being mixed with scrap from aluminum plant. This mixture is subsequently melted at a high temperature in a furnace. The next step involves pouring the molten aluminum is poured into casts, where it gets shaped in large ingots.

In terms of production steps, after these ingots are passed through a reversing mill, where they are flattened into thin sheets, which are then transported to a plant to produce various new aluminum products ready for distribution and consumption. Once these items are used and thrown away, they are collected and mixed with aluminum scrap for the whole process to be repeated.
