The chart and table show working hours and salary for 4 different occupations. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparation where relevant.

The bar chart and the table compare the weekly working time and yearly earnings of four different service professions. In general, it is evident that while nurses work the longest hours each week, people employed in the police service earn the highest annual salary.

A closer look at the bar chart reveals that the nursing employment entails by far the longest working time, at nearly 60 hours per week, which is roughly double that of teacher (30 hours). Meanwhile, the time required for fire and police officers to work on a weekly basis is relatively lower, at equally 40 hours each.

As can be observed in the table, employees in the police service rank first with a wage of £52,050 each year, exceeding that of their fire service counterparts by a margin of around £3,000. By contrast, despite working the longest hours, nurses only earn £37,450 per year, followed by teaching, the least well-paid occupation with merely £33,600 yearly.
